The history of the Nike Air Force 1

In celebration of his exhibit premiering at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago in June 2019, Virgil Abloh teamed up with Nike once again to produce a Nike Air Force 1. The Off-White x Air Force 1 Low '07 'MCA' shoe features a University Blue leather upper and a Metallic Silver Swoosh with prominent stitching and a signature red tab. For a full circle-feel, the shoe reprises key design details from previous Off-White offerings, including the iconic zip tie and quoted branding.

The Nike Air Force 1 ‘07 LV8 ‘Gold Foil Swoosh’ gives the iconic silhouette a pristine makeover with luxe details. White leather is utilized on the upper, appointed with standard AF1 details that include stitched overlays, a perforated toe box and variable width lacing. Shiny gold foil accents land on the Swoosh, tongue tag and heel tab, the latter embellished with a simple raised Swoosh. A matching Swoosh-shaped lace jewel shines at the foot of the lace bed.
