Virgil Abloh presents a relatively straightforward take on Bruce Kilgore’s design with this Off-White x Air Force 1 Low. That isn’t to suggest there aren’t unique details on the reconstructed build: in addition to a mix of ripstop and suede, the upper features taped seams and a white Swoosh attached via zigzag stitching. Exposed foam and misplaced tags appear on the tongue, while ‘LOGO’ inscribed on the heel tab delivers a final meta flourish.

The low-top makes use of a light grey suede upper with a white signature Swoosh and metallic gold lace jewels that resemble a pair of hair clippers. The hairdressing theme continues on the heel overlay, featuring debossed curls and striped trim inspired by a barber pole.

This limited edition Air Force 1 was released in honor of the Chinese New Year in 2011, the Year of the Rabbit. Inspired by the popular Shanghai candy, White Rabbit, the sneaker borrows inspiration from the color palette of the sweets. The polished, sleek sneaker features shades of white on a premium leather upper, along with off-white suede paneling and toe box that sits atop a translucent white midsole.
